Terms of use

These terms cover hi Boards — the website hi.kvai.in and the hi Boards apps — run by KVai Solutions, New Delhi, India. By making an account or using a board you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Your account

• You pick a username and a 6-digit PIN. Keep the PIN and your recovery code to yourself.
• We never ask for a phone number or email, so we cannot reset an account for you. If you lose your PIN and your recovery code, the account cannot be recovered.
• You are responsible for what is done with your account. Log out on shared computers.
• One person may have more than one account, but not to get around a ban.

What you put on boards

What you add stays yours. You give us permission to store it and show it to the members of that board — nothing more. Only add things you have the right to share.

Not allowed

• Anything illegal, or that helps someone do something illegal.
• Sexual content involving minors, or any content that exploits or endangers children. We report this to the authorities.
• Threats, harassment, bullying, hate speech, or sharing someone's private information without consent.
• Sexually explicit or violent material shared with people who did not ask for it.
• Malware, phishing, scams, spam, or files meant to harm a device or steal from a person.
• Content that infringes someone else's copyright or trademark.
• Trying to break in, guess PINs, overload the service, scrape it, or get around bans and limits.

Reporting, removing and banning

• Report: open a board, tap Share, tap a person and choose Report. When 7 different members of a board report the same person, that person is removed from that board for good.
• Board admin: the person who made a board can remove a member, or ban them from that board (their account and network).
• Us: we may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these terms or the law. Report anything serious to hello@kvai.in and we will look into it.

Files and limits

• Files and text snippets delete themselves after 7 days. hi Boards is for sharing, not for backup — keep your own copies.
• A file can be up to 200 MB. A board can have up to 50 people; an account can have up to 50 boards.
• A device is logged out after 30 minutes without activity.

Price

hi Boards is free. If we ever add paid plans, what is free today will be clearly marked, and nothing is charged without your action.

What we promise, and what we can't

We work to keep hi Boards running, fast and secure, but it is provided “as is”, without a guarantee that it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, lost profit or indirect damage arising from using the service. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

Leaving

You can stop using hi Boards and delete your account whenever you like. We may close accounts that break these terms.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at New Delhi have jurisdiction. Questions or complaints: hello@kvai.in. How we handle your data is in the Privacy policy.
